subject:Bunk Shape
I've managed to lift my 21 off the trailer and now have an opportunity to rework the trailer and take a good look at the bottom of the boat. There's some 'oil canning' on the boat where in the back where the bunk is supported by the trailer. Do bunks start life out straight and as they slowly conform to the shape to the hull lose their ability to support in the middle allowing the boat to sink in and, where there is no give, (ie directly above the bunk support post) cause the hull to oil can? Or do bunks start life bent to match the curve of the hull. Thanks
