subject: Secret Compartment - Bilge

Well I was dinging around on the boat today, and decided to open that odd round screw-in hatch set on the aft wall of the V-berth storage compartment. Well, water came pouring out like I was sinking. Imagine my surprise as I was in fact on the trailer miles rom water.

What is that that compartment and does it have anything to do with the cockpit drain, as that's the only place on the boat that has seen that much water in 12 years?
