General questions

As I impolitely blundered onto this forum perhaps I should intro myself. I am 63, and my wife and I used to live aboard our Mac25 every weekend in season in Indiana. Due to her health problems we got away from sailing and I'm missing it a lot. I'm looking for something for lazy cruising and an occasional overnight with small galley for minimal cooking and heating water.

I've been trying to get info on the SJ21 as I think it would be easier to single hand than many boats. I have found a few interior cabin pictures but they are all very spartan. I'm only 5'4" tall so don't need lots of headroom except sitting.

I read somewhere that a galley used to be available and was wondering if anyone has seen one or a picture. As I understand, the MKII has the larger cabin which is what I'd want except all I see have a daggerboard instead of the swing keel like the MKI. I'd be sailing shoal water here in Indiana and question if the daggerboard would be more prone to damage underway than a swing keel?

I've also seen mention of a MKIII but I can't find specifications on them or pictures. Does anyone have more information on them or pictures?

I'd be looking at boats to get ideas but they're all put up for the winter around here.

If anyone can help me with my new questions I'd appreciate it.

Jon
