You might consider an electric trolling motor for your fixed keel Juan. after all you are probably not going water skiing and you really can't go too far on Travis. I have an 8-hp Tohatsu on my boat... WAY over-kill. But, I do have to motor in 2-3 knot tidal current occaisionally.
