Amen to all sails and working sails classes. Used properly and under the correct conditions all sails can hone skills and can allow the San Jaun to be more than competative in large reggata's the problem is the "big" boats wont let the San Jauns compete. It must be dificult to explain to the wife why a $2500 San Jaun can beat most $25000 crusers. What is really fun is to beat them boat for boat, no handy cap.
