I have a 4" (approx) spacer in the forestay which gives me almost neutral steering with just a tiny bit of weather helm. The backstay is adjusted all the way up and is just a bit loose. It doesn't sag but isn't tight. This works well for me for cruising. Other than beating the sox off my friend's Mac25, I don't race.
