National Association Membership

Been a while since I have posted a message on the web site But I do read it faithfully. Jim, many thanks for all that you do to help the Class. I noticed a few words from Gary Van Dusen talking about the National Association.

Just a word (an opinion) about membership in the Class Association. I've had my Boat (KANGA #1898) since 1985 and have loved every minute of it (sometimes more than others). What helped me develop as SJ 21 Class sailor was the people I associated with through the Association. The hard work and dedication of those people have kept the Class alive and well. For those of you who share information on this site I encourage you to join today and support the continued popularity of the boat you now own. Go to the National link (shown on this site) and join today. Travel to a few of the events and learn from the people who know the boat and can sail it well. Yes it is fun to talk about it on a web site but it is fantastic to practice what you have learned with a group of great sailors.
