subject:main sheet routing
Bob I am no expert, but have learned the hard way the last week or so as I have the same issue. The 'bridle system' which is original is the most common way. I have this, but plan on changing it to something else. This is where there are blocks on the port and stbd comming and a double block on the end of the boom, with the tale of the sheet ending up on the cockpit sole, thus going the a eye and cleat. This does not interfere with the tiller...too much. I just tried to change the main sheet system to something else but ended up making the tiller in-accessible. I'll probably end up with what many have which is where the end of the sheet is on the boom rather than the comming.
