I put a bridal & blocks on the boom so that the lines come down to the deck ( block & cleats) about 1" in FRONT of the tiller. This is not as effective as a traveler setup, but far superior to the original bridal setup. It also makes getting to the motor a lot easier. The original nainsheet blocks left on the combings, are now used for my spinnaker.
