Bob I am a begginer too. Only sailed the boat a dozen times, no racing yet. Yes, the end of the sheet is on the floor, the other end is tied to the stbd original block, then goes through the double block on the end of the boom, then to the block on the port comming, then back to the double block on the end of the boom, then back to block on the stbd comming where it all started and then down to the cleat on the cockpit sole. Once again this is the original set up as I understand it to be, it is temporary for me. I must do something else soon in order to effectively race the boat.
