subject: Rudder "pop-up" on Mark I

I recently saw a picture on the sold boats page and the rudder looked like it was slid up out of housing while mooring. Is this a feature on all Mark I's?

If so, what do you have to do to make this work. My rudder pivots with a bungee cord to hold it up, most of the time it doesn't so I think it is time to replace. Does anyone have the proper length and diameter of the bungee?

Thank again for all of your help. We really are enjoying the process of getting to know our boat and we couldn't have done it without everyone's input on the Harbor pages.
