subject:trailer tires
I trailered my boat from Bellevue,WA to Atlanta GA in hot summer weather using tires that were radial passenger car tires. Then trailered to florida in January. I had no tire problems. I did check the tire temp and they got warm, but not hot. I also checked the temperature around the hub ( bearings ) to keep track of possible bearing failure. My trailering speed was low ( 60 or less ). Two important things about tires. Maintain good inflation and buy better quality tires which will cost you less in the end.Mark
