Starting in '75 I always took prospective girlfriends aboard my SJ 21 very early in the relationship. If they didn't like the sailing or the boat there would NOT be another date.

In '83, I married one that loved sailing and considered my SJ a proper yacht. In '90 we moved aboard a 35 foot sloop and sailed the seas together and had a child. In '01 I bought another SJ 21 and she loves this one, too.

Kevin, proper planning prevents poor performance!
