I received the following email requesting information on how to put a salvaged SJ21 back together. I emailed him back I'd post his email and for him to visit the Harbor for assistance. - Jim
Webmaster,
Just (today) salvaged a 1974? San Jaun 21. It has all the sails and rigging (I guess). I have always been a power boat person and have never even been on a sail boat. The rigging is scattered every where and most needs replaced. Experience zero, boat one, desire real. I need a manual so as to start getting this boat back in shape. Any ideas on where I can get the information. I haven't even figured out how the water gets out of the hull as I have yet to find a drain or bilge pump. When I get it rigged, I hope to find someone in the Hot Springs, AR area where I can take lessons. Keep in mind that my knowledge is limited to Lanyard and Mast and rudder.
Thanks,
Ted Burhenn
