Two thoughts , One for Ted!

First, The huge lake just west of Hot Springs AR is one of the prettiest sailing locations in the south central US! I have had great early spring sails there, sailing the length in a couple of days of light downwind with hours under spinnaker. Nights on the lake with friends pulled up next to an island. Ted you're a lucky fellow there!

Second, I was looking at Fleet 1's pages here and was surprised to see a mast head crane that was much more extended than the one that comes standard? I think that is much more valuable as a "go fast" than many other modifications we see here. When did it get approved? We tried in the past to get approval and the Measurer said it was a no go ... unsafe! In light air it sure would help tacking the big roach mains and it requires no drilling holes in the hull or hoisting the hull . Just pop out the standard crane in with some new pop rivets and re-run the halyard.
