subject:SJ-21 MkII Mast
I recently completed a one year refurbisment of a San Juan 21, Mark II and finally began to enjoy the fruits of my work. Last week someone decided they needed my mast more than I did so they stole it from the boat which was trailered in storage. Any thoughts or help on where and how to begin my search for a replacement mast would be greatly appreciated. I reside on the Gulf Coast of Florida so hope to find one in this area. The company that seems to have been mentioned most often in the past year is http://www.rigrite.com/. Unfortunately, masts are not an easy part to come by. If others have suggestions, please come to the aid here.It's just awful that someone who has spent the kind of time and dedication it requires to refurbish one of our boats has to be subjected to a thief brazen enough to actually steal a mast!
