Ok - let's put our money where our mouth is - let's get a BIG turnout at the SJ 21 Midwinter-Early Spring Championships - March 10-11 - Lake Normnan YC, Charlotte, NC. This date is 99% positive - must await SAYRA blessing It is a GREAT TIME to shake off the winter cob webs and get back in the sailing mode....LNYC is a super venue for this event - Fleet 38 will work on getting some special prizes/ awards for this one (something like - first timer award, maybe we'll resurrect the "basic boat" -a traveler/backstay adjustter award, etc.) We'll prpobably have the Robinson sing along time (I am not sure if that enhances participation or not)Anyway - Post your ideas for drumming up the participation - and of course we welcome sponsors!
