PHRF rating

Once again - NCPHRF has rated the SJ 21 at 243 for the PHRF configuration. This means no restriction on sailcloth, headfoils permitted, 155% genoas, 180% kites, move the keel if you want (but you must be self righting). The ODR rating is 252 and limits the boat to class configuration - dacron only, 3.5 oz minimum for white sails, .6 oz nylon for class kites which are 173%, class genoa which is a short hoist 137.5%, and the keel must be down at all times. This seems to be consistent with the Gulf handicap. Since we have had this in place for only a few months, there isn't any data available to show if it works as yet.
