Labor Day Regatta @ LNYC

Sailors,

It was just one of those weekends when the sun was out, the wind was blowing, it wasn't to hot and ten Sj 21's make it to Lake Norman NC for the Labor Day Regatta. After weeks of very hot and windless weather we got a break Labor Day. Nine boats sailed working sails while Dick Dommel decided to take his chances in the "keel boat" division (finishing 3rd).

We have a write up on "Inland Northwest Sailing" on the 'blog' page as well as a slide show in the 'slide show adventures'. Let us know what you think of our new look (still learning the new software).

Don't forget the next big Sj event on Lake Norman will be on November 10-11. We are expecting another good turnout in the Sj 21 fleet for the Carolina Keel Boat Championships.
