subject:Keel Knocking / slop
This may be caused by sloppy manufacturing in the 80's. After I had my 1981 # 2441 SJ 21 a few years, I had to remove the keel to do some work on the keel trunk. Sloppy work on the keel trunk. Anyway, the keel bolt hole was about .8" and the keel bolt was NOT the .75" as stated in the owners manual. It was a 5/8" .625".Luckily at the time, I worked with a place with a very friendly machine shop. ( V.P. of Engineering had a sailboat so he had the machine shop trained as to what had priority.) They made me a sleave.
