subject:1984 E. Natl's WS Champ passes away unexpectingly.
Fellow past Fleet #36 member died from a massive heart failure Sunday morning. Hal will be missed for his great humor and contribution to the Camden, SC community. His sons and daughter were great crew for him a number of years.Mr. Storey died Sunday, September 9, 2007. Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of Harold J. Storey, Sr. and Jeannette Jones Storey. He was an Air Force veteran having served in Vietnam and a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a member of Camden Lions Club and was awarded the United Way of Kershaw County Volunteer of the Year, Jake Watson Award. Mr. Storey retired from DuPont in 1993.
Surviving are his wife; Angela "Angie" Johnston Storey of Camden; children, Tom Storey and his wife Robin of Lugoff, Sean Storey and his wife Candace of Concord, NC, Cyndi Krenz and her husband Benjie of Lugoff; grandchildren, Jillian and Erica Krenz, Robert Storey and A. J. Storey. He was predeceased by a brother Bill Storey.
