I had the same problem. It turned out to be from two different sources. When I got the boat it was full of water. I thought I had it totaly dried out but after I had it in the water and had sailed a bit more water showed up under the V-berth. My best guess is that there was water trapped somewher under the V-berth or quarterberths (they are all connected) and while sailing that water moved into the space under the V-berth where I could see it.
The other source of the water showed up when I changed the keel gasket. I removed the screws holing the front edge of the stainless gasket retainers. I did not put all the screws back in (because they really were not needed). I discoverd some of those screw holes went all the way thru the hull and water enter thru the holes. I drilled them out bigger and filled them with epoxy to seal them up.
This boat also had holes in the keel trunk due to some damage caused by barnacles on the keel when the keel was retracted. I finally have a dry boat.
