subject:Shipping Bow Pulpit - DHL
I brought a pulpit from one of our Harbor friends in NC last year. I live in Michigan and the shipping looked to be a problem, because it would cost more to ship it than the puplit cost. The seller had many takers on the pulpit but once they found out the shipping charges, the deal feel through.After much checking, I had DHL ship it, even though they said online that they would not do it because of the odd size. The local DHL folks tubed the supports and bubble wrapped the rest and it cost $35 ground to deliver it to Traverse City Michigan. Pretty cheap compared to $200 and up that I was looking at for truck freight charges.
The pulpit arrived in fine shape and the DHL folks in NC had no problem with my request.
