Great job Fleet 1,I can't tell you how much we miss sailing with all of you out west. We are working on getting a camera to post some of our adventures here on Lake Norman NC which is also creating great memories for Jeana and I while we are here. I guess Sj sailors everywhere are just great people!
Last weekend we continued our spring club racing with 5 boats on the line for racing on Saturday and 3 on Sunday. Jeana and I manage to be "over early" along with Don Olive in the second race while Merrill Callen sailed happily on as we returned to the start line. We almost caught Merrill at the finish but "almost" is not good enough as we lost our first race of the season.
Sunday racing was canceled because of thunderstorm activity on the lake. Our next club race will be May 17-18 when the Sj 21 fleet 38 provides dinner for LNYC members.
