subject:Glassed-Over Upper Rudder Gudgeon Bolts - Hull No. 366
I earlier identified a problem concerning "pintle" bolts that had been glassed over at the factory. Actually, it's the gudgeon bolts that are glassed over on the interior side (all four). I've removed the lower gudgeon (bolts were exposed). I believe there's a wood or metal plate laid in from the gunwhale to the bottom of the transom. I'm trying to get at the upper bolts. Any suggestions?
