subject:Main sheet pad eye
On my previous post I typed "halyard" when I meant "main sheet". Here it is again using sheet instead of halyard:If you look at this jpg location:

My main sheet is looped through a block that is connected to a weird looking pad eye type connector. I have not been able to figure out what type of connector this really is and what is the proper way to connect to it.
This connector swivels and on the other side of the boat it causes the main sheet to twist up. I am regularly untwisting it.
What kind of connector is this and how should I be connecting it up to the main sheet ?
I have looked about replacing it with a standard pad eye, but I haven't found one yet whose screws are 1" spacing all the way around like this one is and I'd hate to have to drill new holes to place a different pad eys.
Thanks
