subject:More on Mast base position
When I was taking the data on the mast base position, I noted that boat #40, and boat #2601 were the only ones that had the mast base at 100.25" Only one boat had their's at 98.5" and they moved theirs back to 100" My point is if you have a forestay of 24'4" and your mast base if 1" further forward than another boat that also has a 24'4", the mast rake on the two boats will be different.
