Thanks for the all the responses. I went underneath it yesterday and it looked like the keel gasket was jammed up into the keel trunk pretty well. I have freed most of it but there is still about 4" on either side of the keel jammed in there that I will need to find some sort of mechanical advantage to get out. I think this is likely the problem.

I'm guessing what happened was I had a growth and water saturated gasket from having the boat in the water for a few months. When I pulled it out and raised the keel, the gasket and associated crud got pulled into the keel trunk. When it dried, it dried fast.

I'll let you all know next time I launch her if this took care of it.
