I use a kayak hand pump with a four foot hose so that water can be pumped into the cockpit and out the drain hole. If you have more water in the boat than a hand pump will handle, you have a serious leak and had better find it SOON. Sometimes the keel gasket retainer screws will leak up through the keel well. This can be cured by removing the screws and rebeding them.
