subject:Removing spreaders
Will;The spreader tubes are each held on by 1 screw. The tubes slips over a post which runs through the mast.
VERY IMPORTANT. When you re-install the spreaders in the spring, make sure you wrap some rigging/electrical tape over the screws. ( Wrap around 1-2 times) to insure that they do not back out while sailing. Should the screw back out, the spreader will come off at the wrong time, and you will be purchasing a new mast. Been there, done that :-(
