subject: Forestay length

We have looked in the handbook and the manual to find the length of the forestay. We need to replace our forestay and want to make sure we make it the right length. If there is a maximum allowable length of the forestay, what is it? We recently had an official "De-naming, Re-naming ceremony" for our San Juan. She is no longer Kaos. Her new name is Just Us. (And fun was had by all).
