the two to one block in it the factory jib halyard gives plenty of power to tighten the jib luff. If you have led the jib aft you need a winch to tighten the halyard. If your winch is tied up, you need some cleats ahead of the winch to free it. I have mine on 3/4" blocks of UHMW so that it does not take as many holes through the deck.
