Thanks for the update Mike - I have seen your diagram on other websites.Everywhere I look there is reference to an 18" difference in cabin length between Mark I and Mark II (same for III?). I have a '74 Mark I SN905 and an '85 Mark III SN2581 in front of the house RIGHT NOW. Measuring cockpit length is easier than measuring cabin length. Cockpit length wall to wall down the centerline (outside companionway door to inside transom - as measured by an engineer!) Mark I: 93" / Mark III: 81.25". Assuming hull length is the same, and no shift in the time/space continuim, I only see 12" difference in cockpit/cabin length between Mark I and Mark III. Is this the same for Mark II? Maybe the group can help us out as we do not plan to add a Mark II to our personal fleet in order to confirm design changes.
Thanks, M&N
