subject:DEPTH SOUNDER TRANSPONDER PLACEMENT
I have used epoxy to cement a transponder to the hull in larger boats with thicker hull than the 21. I found a spot just off center where the hull was faily flat and sanded the hull, put the transponder in place with epoxy and held it in place with a gallon sandwich bag full of water. I let it dry overnight in 65 degree weather. That is summer in the northwest. My last installation is four years old and working fine.
