Hi Clay. The fairing and gasket are pretty tough. But, if you run the boat that far up onto the beach, you will probably damage the fairing along with stuffing the keel and sand up into the keel slot. It wouldn't take much sand to cause the keel to stick in the up positon.I would recommend you drop a stern anchor as you approach the beach and use it to stop the boat so that you step off in about six inches of water. Then tie off the bow to something on shore. The fairing, the keel and the bottom of your boat will be a lot happier.
