I hope the national committee takes it up as well. I think it's ridiculous that we don't make the class manual freely available in an updated version. The inability to get that information without shelling out 25$ feels a bit like extortion.Doug lost me at "for the price" as there are a lot of things in life that are a good deal "for the price". But, that doesn't mean squat if you don't get anything you value in return "for the price".

I tried to refrain from responding to your message online, Christian. However, having maintained this website for 12 years I have never received a message which caused me such a feeling of distain. ("feels ... like extortion"!) Just what do you think this website is!? You don't think you're getting quite a deal "for the price" here!? The information provided on this website and the information freely provided by others on this message board is provided free. I developed and continue providing this website in support of the National Association and all of the sailors who enjoy sailing and their San Juan 21's. Were it not for the National Association and all of the members I've come to know over the years, this site would not continue to exit. It's my hope that those who you who enjoy this website and the information provided will care enough to support our National organization by joining.- Jim Hubbard
