class perks, manual, fees, etc.



I'm kind of a new member, but have greatly appreciated the information found on this site. I don't think that $25 is too much money to join a class association, but I see the point that was made. One has to weight what one gets for the money. I like joining and supporting things like this, and at the time it wasn't a great deal of money. (Things might be different now, however, for some people.)

But I DO think it is silly to withhold measurement information. One ought to buy into the class membership for other things - joining races, snazzy decal, ability to vote in group decisions, and I DO like having an official manual with all relevant information - but I think that basic information ought to be freely available. I cannot see that is going to harm the class. I believe that it can only encourage new and prospective owners to become more interested in joining the association.
