subject:Blue chart download problem with Garmin GPS-76Csx
I'm reasonably tech savvy but this one has me stopped. I posted a request to Garmin for assistance a week ago but have no reply. Maybe one of you can help I have a new GPSMap-76Csx. Have the North Americas Blue Chart CD. Have the CD properly unlocked for the SE USA. Can see the charts correctly on the PC. Have successfully downloaded a small set of way points from the PC to the 76. However, after an apparently successful download of charts from PC to the 76, what the 76 displays is not the chart. In appearance it is something like the base map with some of the chart detail added. Colors are all wrong (deep water is black for example), bridges are missing, .... I have read and reread the manual, looked at help files, tried turning off the base map .... nothing works. Help?
