subject: Towing with a Prius?

We're in the market for a light boat we can tow with our Prius, which is rated at 1500# towing capacity. With the trailer and any gear, I know the SJ21 will be over 1500#, but has anyone towed with a Prius? I'd like to hear your experience. We will probably be doing a maximum of 300 miles- to Lake Michigan or Superior.
