subject:Towing With a Prius
Believe it or not, we had a guy who used to launch and retrieve with a Toyota Tercel.Anyhow, most cars are front wheel drive, which tow badly. So cars aren't really the issue. It's trucks, SUVs and crossovers, all of which will still be around - and no matter how green they're made to be, they'll effortlessly tow a San Juan.
So, come to think of it, maybe this would be good for the San Juan class. After all, we'll still have a boat light enough so that almost anything will tow it, while others may suddenly be too heavy for emasculated trucks to manage. (OK, little pipe dream there.)
As for your political insinuations...Well, I'm typing in conservative Alberta, where former President Bush two months ago gave his first post-presidential speech. That is, he knew he'd be speaking to a supportive audience.
But...maybe some will not want to see this forum serve political discussions.
