sinking motors

On the Hudson River our motors do not sink. That is because the river is full of BULL.... coming down the river from our political"leaders" in Albany.

What a bunch of clowns up there.

I know of two motors on the bottom of the Hudson and I bet there are quite a few. One was off a friends J-24. I was on his boat and saw it go down, under power. We were never able to find it. Another J-24 owner started and it fell off the mount, but he still had the starter cord in his hand. But the motor won out, and he had to releases to prevent from going overboard.

Another interesting, story. A friend was loading his marine battery from a dink. Slipped overboard with the battery. Tried to swim up with the battery ... When he hit the bottom of the river,at 10 ft or so, he figured he could not swim with a lead battery. So; good by new battery.
