There have been several postings that I have seen inquiring about Bimini's on our San Juans. When I replied to the last such inquiry, that I have a Bimini on my juan that I built, I received a lot of interest in how I did it. So I took a little time and put together a document outlining what I did. I happen to be one of those DIY's that is obsessed by the challenge of designing and constructing things that I want but am not willing to pay the high price for. This Bimini may no match up to those by the professional manufacturers, but I think it looks OK and I was extremely glad to have it this past weekend as the heat index in North Florida approached 110 degrees.
