Class Discussion

I agree with John's comments. We all talk about what can be done but forget that it takes either volunteers or money to accomplish improvements. I served as a Fleet Captain for a number of years and as Eastern Vice Commodore which were volunteer activities. I've also been on the National Regatta Committies a number of time and know it is not an easy task. My point is (like John's) get involved and the Class will survive or the Class will go away. I don't mean the boat will go away but that the one design factor will go by the wayside.

You new folks need to get involved at the National and Fleet level (officers, regattas, rules, by-laws, etc.) and make the changes to keep us alive. I don't mean that us old folks will not continue on but we need some help, some new blood.

Thanks to all of you who have (helped that is) over the years.
