Re: Class Response: Who is Sparky?

Doug,

I'm suprised that you would suggest I "move on" from the class when you don't know who I am. Also, I wasn't trying to be elusive or hide in anyway. Most people know me by my nickname which came from the 1996 Western National at Whidbey Island, WA. (For the record: The Fire Marshall did say I could make it as big as I wanted as long as it was in the BIG fire pit... and Capt'n Randazzo did it anyways.) Also, my e-mail is posted with each post, so you do have a first name and last initial. But, if you still don't know who I am...

Tis I, Marc Vander Schalie, Skipper of the the greenest boat in the West, Kermit, Hull number 1033. Class member since 1995, sailing on SJ21's and other fine vessels since I was knee high to a grasshopper.

Anyways, I digress...

Mike, thank you for the clear and concise response on the rudder issue. Also, thank you for volunteering your time to the class as measurer. I fully recognize the difficulty of the possition. Keep up the good work.

Jon Richards, please let me know how I can assist you this year. I look forward to helping move the class forward and sailing with you in Montana.

Doug Armey, excellent post on 1/2/2010, you pretty much summarize what I was trying to say, only more concisely, Thank you.
